Roller skating is a lot easier than most people realize. It takes practice, but after a while, it can come as naturally to some people as walking. It is simply a matter of getting used to the feeling of having wheels on your feet. Be on the look out for our “Tips and Tricks” blog titles!

Bend your knees: This is probably one of the most important things in skating, which is why it is our first tip and trick. A lot of skaters do not think about this, but in order to roll properly and to stop quickly, a healthy amount of knee bend is key. It places your body weight directly over the skate you are standing on, giving you the most control over your skate while it rolls. Mastering knee bend is key in learning how to roll freely.
